New Kids On The Block-Skateboardcontest 2009

For the fourth time the Skatehalle Berlin was the place to held the „New Kids On The Block“ contest.
Skateboard pros like Jürgen Horrwarth, Jan Kliewer,
Julian Dykmans, Mark Bains, and many more helped the 40 kids (under 14 years and unsponsored) to skate in the contest. For most of them it was the first contest ever, so the pros supported and helped.
After a short training together in the team the contest started.
The audience gave special applause for team moves, when kids ollied over the pros or the pros over the kids.
The 10 best rides went to the final to show again their upcoming talent.

They did not make easy it for the jugdes and it was a toe-to-toe decision at the end.
Gino Körner (10, Bremen, also the NKOTB winner from 2008) could catch the first place with the help of teamrider Paul.
Second place was André Richter (14, Berlin) with the help of Giovanni, followed by Oskar Custodis (14, Berlin) who was supported by Hirschi.

David Egert and Stevie Schmidt could catch the trophy for beeing the best team. They had the best team spirit and rode the most originally line.
