About Sofia Mulanovich
From humble beginnings in Lima, Peru, Sofia Mulanovich isn't one to tout her Cinderella story, but it's hard not to acknowledge it, as her's is a story that has served as inspiration to hordes of young surfers worldwide. While the beach was always a part of the young Mulanovich's life, she didn't start surfing until she was 13. This relatively late introduction to the "Sport of Kings" did nothing to diminish her drive which was immediately apparent and it was only a matter of time before she was picked up by a major sponsor. In that same year, she began carving out a name for herself on the world stage, making the Quarterfinals at the U.S Open in Huntington Beach and beginning her ascent to the top.
