Coldwater Classics - 2nd stop Scotland - surfing in snow
The O’Neill Coldwater Classic Tour explores spectacular surf. Away from the conventional tropical surf locations, the Coldwater Classic is about heading into the colder and more challenging side of surfing in rugged, wild locations: The most Northern, the most Southern, the wildest, the coldest & the most classic surf contest on the planet.
This time the contest is in Caithness in the far Northern corner of Scotland. Lying at 59 degrees – which is the same latitude as Juneau, Alaska, it is known for it’s rugged coastline and some of the heaviest weather in the world, but also some of Europe’s and for that matter the world’s best surf breaks.
